Challenge
WEG's Brazilian factory relied on manual labor for magnet assembly. As order volumes grew, manual assembly became a production bottleneck. They needed an automated solution that could maintain quality while scaling output.
Solution
We designed a custom automated magnet assembly line for WEG Brazil: 2× LJ-CGDJ-3 skeleton-magnet dispensing machines, 2× dual-station magnet assembly machines, vision positioning system, and conveyor integration. The line automates the entire process: magnet feeding → dispensing → insertion → curing → inspection.
Results
Output increased 300% (from 200 to 800 units/day), yield rate improved from 92% to 99.2%, labor reduced from 8 to 2 operators. Zero unplanned downtime in 18 months of operation.
