Frequently Asked Questions
Selection, customization, pricing, support — find answers to common questions about our winding machines.
📦 Selection & Customization
1. How do I choose the right winding machine model?
Selection depends on four key parameters: stator dimensions (ID/OD/stack height), wire gauge range, production volume (daily output/cycle time), and winding method (internal/external/flying fork). Our engineers will recommend the best model based on your stator sample or drawing. Our 37 models cover 0.1mm–3.0mm wire gauges, from single-station to six-station configurations, with daily output ranging from hundreds to thousands of stators. Not sure which to choose? Contact us for a free selection consultation.
2. Can winding machines be customized?
Yes. All equipment is designed and manufactured in-house at our source factory. We support non-standard customization including: special tooling and fixtures, multi-strand parallel winding, specific tension control systems, explosion-proof/cleanroom adaptations, and automated production lines (winding + paper insertion + magnet assembly). Custom orders typically ship within 30–45 days.
3. Can winding, magnet insertion, and paper inserting machines form an automated line?
Yes. We provide complete solutions from standalone machines to fully integrated lines. A typical BLDC stator production line: paper insertion → winding → magnet insertion → dispensing → inspection. Each station can operate independently or be linked via conveyors or robotic arms. Multiple customers including Chongqing Lihua and Huasheng Motor already use our turnkey line solutions.
💰 Pricing & Business
4. How much does a winding machine cost?
Pricing varies significantly based on configuration, number of stations, and automation level. Entry-level single-station machines start from several thousand USD, while high-speed multi-station fully automatic machines range from tens of thousands to over a hundred thousand USD. Magnet and paper inserting machines are similarly priced. As a source factory, we offer factory-direct pricing with no middleman markup. Contact us for an official quotation — typically within 1 business day.
5. Can I get a free sample test before ordering?
Absolutely. We offer free prototyping services. Simply send us your stator sample (or provide drawings), and we will test-wind it on the appropriate machine and return the wound sample for your inspection. The sampling process typically takes 3–5 business days. This is the most direct way to verify equipment compatibility.
6. What are the payment terms and delivery time?
Standard terms: 30% deposit upon contract signing, 70% before shipment. We accept T/T and L/C. Standard models ship in 15–30 days; custom models in 30–45 days. Domestic deliveries use dedicated logistics; exports ship via sea/air (FOB Ningbo or Shanghai). All equipment is packed in export-standard fumigated wooden crates.
🔧 Technical & After-Sales
7. What winding precision can you achieve?
We use servo motors with closed-loop control systems, achieving turn count accuracy of ±0.5 turns. Winding uniformity is maintained within 0.02mm via precision ball screws or linear motors. Every machine undergoes 72-hour continuous operation testing before shipment, with a yield rate exceeding 99%. Critical components (servo motors, ball screws, bearings) use Japanese/German imported brands.
8. What warranty and after-sales support do you provide?
12-month full warranty with lifetime technical support. Support tiers: remote guidance via phone/video (free) → spare parts shipment → on-site repair (free labor within warranty). Each machine has a dedicated service record. For overseas customers, we can arrange service through local agents or dispatch engineers for on-site training (additional costs may apply).
9. Is the equipment difficult to operate? Do I need specialists?
All machines feature touchscreen HMI with Chinese/English options. Operator training typically takes 1–2 days. Daily operation after setup: load → press start → unload. We provide complete operation manuals and video tutorials. On-site training by our engineers (3–5 days) is available upon request.
10. What certifications are needed for export?
Our equipment meets CE certification requirements (EU). Additional certifications (UL/CSA, etc.) available upon request. Each machine ships with bilingual manuals (Chinese/English), electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and spare parts lists. Packaging meets international shipping standards. We have exported to 20+ countries, including Siemens Partner (Germany), WEG (Brazil), and WEG Mexico.

Accessible via Taizhou Luqiao Airport or Taizhou high-speed rail station, or via Ningbo/Wenzhou transfers.
More Questions
Q: Can winding and paper inserting machines work together?
Yes. Longjiang LJ-7HS winders and LJ-CZJ paper inserters support PLC-linked conveyor integration for full automation. Actual case: daily output increased from 400 to 550 units, labor reduced from 2 to 1 operator.
Q: How to fix unstable winding tension?
Check in order: 1) Tensioner cleanliness/wear 2) Wire roller bearing friction 3) Servo parameter calibration 4) Wire consistency. Longjiang winders use closed-loop tension control with under 2% variation.
Q: How to prevent reverse magnet polarity insertion?
Longjiang magnet machines have automatic polarity detection via Hall sensors before insertion. Incorrect polarity triggers immediate stop. Vision positioning ensures ±0.05mm accuracy.
Q: Do you export? CE certified?
Yes. We export to 20+ countries across Europe, Americas, SE Asia, and Middle East. CE/UL certification available on request. All export machines include English interface and bilingual manuals.
Q: Can you handle custom stator designs?
Yes. We support custom winding solutions. Send us your stator sample for free trial winding. Custom solutions typically take 25-40 working days from design to delivery.
